KUSI morning news reporter Ron Luck was arrested Friday evening on suspicion of battery against his girlfriend in a South San Francisco hotel, police said. The woman told police Luck hit her in the mouth with his fist.

At least one cop has been disciplined for ordering the NYPD's highest-ranking uniformed black officer out of his auto while the three-star chief was off-duty and parked in Queens, the Daily News has learned. "How you can not know or recognize a chief in a department SUV with ID around his neck, I don't know," a police source said.

New kind of beetle found! By CBC staff! Staff on the state-owned CBC Newsworld, where, suspiciously like Fox News Channel’s O’Reilly Factor, “The Spin Stops Here”! (-- or is that just on their “Politics” program?) apparently discovered the new creature. They called it the “GREENHOUSE BEETLE”.
